Answer:

Stacy can buy a maximum of 2 bags of popcorn and maximum of 6 drinks

Possible answer:
(1,8) (2,6), etc …

The shaded area with the color red and blue is the possible popcorn and drinks she can buy. But make sure to remove that she can but the maximum of 8 total items.

Explanation:

Let x = number of bags of popcorn

Let y = number of drinks


2x + 1y ≤ 11

-2x -2x

1y ≤ -2x + 11 or y ≤ -2x +11


x + y ≥ 8

-x -x

y ≥ -x + 8
