Explanation:

12.5 will be the length for both sides of the quadrant (it's the radius) so 12.5*2 = 25

Now we have to find the length of the curve.

We can take the circumference of the circle and divide it by 4 (this is a quadrant, 1/4 of the circle)

Circumference of a circle equation; 2π r

In this equation 12.5 is the radius and we will use 3.14 as pi

12.5 * 2 * 3.14 = 78.5

25 + 78.5 = 103.5
