I am so so sorry again for how many questions there are!!

Calculate the Mechanical Advantage for the Inclined Plane (The second screenshot is for this question)

A 5-meter ramp lifts objects to a height of 0.75 meters. What is the Mechanical advantage of the ramp?

A mover uses a ramp to pull a 1000 N cart up to the floor of his truck, which is 0.8 meters high. If it takes a force of 200N to pull the cart, what is the length of the ramp?

Answer:

Weight of object = Wv = Mg

Weight along ramp = Wr = Wv sin θ

Mechanical advantage = Wv / Wr = 1 / sin θ = 1/.15 = 6.7

Sin θ = H / L = .75 / 5 = .15 θ = 8.6 deg

Note: M.A. = 5 / .75 = 6.7 because one has to move a weight 5 meters to raise it by .75 m
