7. Angles that are complementary

add up to 90 degrees. If two
complementary angles are in the
ratio of 4:1. how large is the larger
angle?

72 degrees is the larger angle

Explanation:

SImple ratio problem

So we got a ratio of 4:1 that eqauls to 90 degrees when added up. We can jsut add the 2 numbers 4+1 which will be 5. Now divide 90 by 5 which will equal 18. Now we multiply 18 by each number int he same order of the ratio.

4*18: 1*18

72:18 which equals 90. SInce they ask for the larger angle the answer will be 72.
