A_(n) = n!

In this question:

On the first day, 2 prospects will be called, and the total number of possibilites is 2!.

On the second day, the remaining 5 prospects will be called, and the total number of possibilities will be 5!. So


T = A_(2)*A_5 = 2!*5! = 2*120 = 240

The agent can telephone the prospects in 240 different ways.
