Everyday Americans helped the war effort such as rationing for the troops the US federal government which was with the allied powers helped win the war by d-day the invasion of Normandy this surrounded the Germans from both sides, France and America from one and the Soviet Union from the other this will lead to Berlin falling and the German Surrender the procedure put in place that would win ww2 were the atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which would result to a Japanese Surrender and the end of the deadliest war in history
