Answer:

y=-(5)/(6)x-8

Explanation:

To find slope we need to do
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) \\

x1= 0 y1= -8

x2= -6 y2= -3

(-3-(-8))/(-6-0) =(5)/(-6) = -(5)/(6) \\

Now that we know our slope is -5/6, we need to plug in one of the coordinates we have.

-8=-(5)/(6)(0)+b\\ -8=b

Now that we know -8 is b, we plug in the answer into slope intercept form.

y=-(5)/(6)x-8
