Evan is using the dot plots to compare two sets of data. Both plots use the same number line. What is the difference between the mean of each data set?

Two number lines have arrows on both ends and entries labeled 0 to 30. Each has x marks above some numbers. The first has 2 x marks above 5, 1 for 6, 1 for 8, 2 for 10, 1 for 14, 1 for 15, 1 for 17, and 1 for 10. The second has 1 x for 3, 1 for 5, 1 for 7, 1 for 10, 1 for 15, 1 for 18, 1 for 10, 1 for 22, and 2 for 25.

Answer:

4

Explanation:

First you add all of the numbers one the first line and divide it by that amount of dots there are. In our case, 10.

Do the same thing to the bottom and then find the difference.
