Answer: 2.83

Explanation:

For this question you have to use pythagoras' theorem.

Pythagoras' theorem states that:

c²=a²+b²

So first you put the numbers in:

c²=2²+2²

Then you would find out what 2² is:

2²=4

c²=4+4

c²=8

Then because you just want c (the Hypotenuse) on it's own you have to square root 8.

√8=2.83 (to the nearest hundredth)
