How does water sink to the bottom of the ocean and then rise to the surface again?

If the water is more dense then any other water in the deep ocean, it will sink all the way to the sea floor.The water then flows past Antarctica and into the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Here, some of the deep waters are warmed and so rise again to the surface.

depending on the temperature of the water. For example . cold waters will sink and then move to different parts of the world which then make them warmer, then they rise this cycle repeats.
