y = a - b ^x

a = 57

b = 5

because every .5 hours adds 5 points to the score

y = 57 (5) ^x

and as a function

F(x)= 57(5)

C.)

slope: 10

y / x

5 / 0.5

= 10

y-intercept: 57

x is 0 and y is 57 that is the y-intercept

it has a positive slope.
