Answer: 549

Explanation:

Given

The ratio of teens to adults is 9:3

The total number of people who voted is 732

let 9x be the no of teens and 3x be the no of adults such that their ratio is 9:3

So, we can write

\Rightarrow 9x+3x=732\\\Rightarrow 12x=732\\\Rightarrow x=61

No of the teens were
9x=9* 61=549
