How do I do this?

Write the equation of a cubic function with the following transformations.
1) Horizontal shift to the right 5 units
2) Vertical shift up 4 units
3) Vertical compression by a factor of ½

Answer:

1/2f(x-5)+4

Explanation:

the base function x^3 then the transformations happen.

1) f(x) becomes f(x-5)

2)+4 is added to the end of the equation f(x-5)+4

3)add 1/2 to the beginning of f(x) 1/2f(x-5)+4
