Explanation:

The two flat sides of the figure are 3 cm, so that part of the perimeter = 6cm

3cm is the radius of what would be a whole circle. We'll calculate the circumference, then divide by 4.

Circumference = (2)(pi)(r)

C = (2)(3.14)(3)

C = 18.84

18.84/4 = 4.71

Add 4.71 to the 6 cm above, = 10.71
