Answer:

X+Y=48

X=48-Y (I) equ

next condition

X-Y=-4 ( ii) equ

putting value of X in (ii) equ

48-Y-Y =-4

or 48 +4= 2Y

or 52/2 =Y

Y= 26 ans

putting value of y in( i)equ

X= 48-26

X = 22 ans
