Graph the inequalities x>2 and x < 2 on the same number line. What value, if any, is not a solution of

either inequality? Explain your thinking.

Explanation:

2 will not be a value of either inequalities.

Using both inequalities, x has to be greater than 2, and less than 2. x can't equal 2, the inequalities would be incorrect.

If the inequalities were;


x \geq 2 \\ x \leq 2

Then, x can equal any value.
