When building a house, the number of days required to build varies inversely with

with the number of workers. One house was built in 121 days by 8 workers. How
many days would it take to build a similar house with 44 workers?

Answer:

22 days

Explanation:

Using the inverse proportion, when a variable increase / decrease, the other one decrease / increase by the same amount / ratio.

The increment of the workers = 44 : 8 = 5.5 (times)

Since there are 5.5 times more worker, the time taken will be less by 5.5 times

121 : 5.5 = 22 days

So, it will take 22 days for 44 workers to build a similar house.

(if it's a riddle then it will take 0 days since it's already built)
