Explanation:
let x and y this numbers : x +y = -103 and x = y +59
so : y+59 +y = -103
2y +59 = -103
2y +59-59 = -103-59
2y = -162
y = -162/2
y = -81 but x = y +59
so : x = -81+59
x = -22
