It all starts with deciding on location. If family has more than two members there might be a disagreement on destination. Packing is on other stressor. What to pack? Can we fit everything in a car or suitcases? If traveling by car, how many stops to make on the way to destination. Where to get gas, food, bathroom stops, what music to listen. If traveling by plane, when to be at the airport, how to get to airport. Do we rent car once we make it to the destination. Where we will stay? What we will eat? What fun things we will do? What time will we get up, go to bed? List goes on. Family is a unit of more than one person. There will always be disagreements and compromises when comes to traveling. If one or more persons are difficult or in a bad mood their energy will affect the rest of the family even, potentially ruining the vocation.
