How do you think that carnegie would feel about the modern us welfare system if he were still living

Carnegie I think would oppose it because though he agreed with giving wealth back to the poor. I don't think he would agree with the way welfare does it. He favored investing money into libraries, schools, and also places that would help society and his own legacy such as theaters.

He probably would not agree with welfare since it gives money directly to the people instead of ways that could actually help them. I do believe that welfare does help people but some people obviously abuse it. This is is why Carnegie would not agree with it.
