PLEASE HELP! Suppose that an acute angle x has the value z=31. Form an equation and solve for X, the complement of Z.

x= 59°

Equation:

x+z°=90°

x+31°=90°

90°-31°=x

90°-31°=59°

Explanation:

So if Z and X are complementary angles, means that:

x+z°=90°

So if z=31 then the equation becomes:

If we flip the equation to becoming solvable then the equation becomes:

90°-31°=x
