Answer:

Explanation:

Known fact:

  • perimeter: 42m
  • a = b - 2
  • c = 3b

The perimeter is all the sides added together and thus lets set all the side's length in terms of b

(b-2) + b+3b = 42

5b -2 = 42

b = 8

Thus:

a = b-2 = 6

b = 8

c = 3b = 24

Hope that helps!
