The reason that offspring look like there parents is because of genetics. The offspring receives 50% of each of their parent’s genes. Which creates a offspring that is a combination of both of their parent’s genes. Because of this they can resemble both parents, since they have genes from both of them. Showing that genetics is the reason why an offspring looks like it’s parent.
