Answer:

(a,b) = (49/9 , 91/18)

Explanation:

12a-6b=35

5a-4b=7

multiply both sides

-24+12b= -70

15a-12b=21

elimiate one varibable by adding the equations

-9a= -49

divide both sides

a=49/9

subsitite the value of a

5*49/9-4b=7

solve the equation

b=91/18

a possible solution is

(a,b) = (49/9 , 91/18)
