In 2 years Peter will be twice as old as his sister Eve. The sum of their present age is 26.

Eve is 8, 10 in 2 years and peter is 18, 20 in two years

Explanation:

26/2=13

Eve = 13 Peter=13

Then just keep subtracting from eve then adding that on to peter. Then add two years everytime for the age they will be in two years

And yh it is basically trial and error
