Explanation:

2(x-2)⅓=x+2

so we first cube each side,such that...

(2(x-2))⅓•³=(x+2)³

we get...

2(x-2)=(x+2)³

expanding...

2x-4=x³+6x²+12x+8

grouping....

x³+6x²+12x+8-2x+4=0

solving...

x³+6x²+10x+12=0

now you can use you calculator to solve for the possible values of x
