The four parts of natural selection are:

1 - Variation: If there is no variation in a population, there aren't any differential adaptability between the individuals in order to be selected.

2 - Fitness: That is the differential survival and capacity to reproduce of the variants.

3 - Inheritance: The traits must be inherited in order to be natural selection by the reproduction of the individuals with higher fitness.

4 - The population must have a high population rate in order to see the results of the changes in the proportions of each variant over time.

Hope this helps!
