Will this quadratic f(x)=14(x−16)−7 shift to the up or down?

The formula for quadratic equations is
f(x)=a(x-h)^(2)+k. In this k controls the y-values, and therefore controls the vertical shifts. If k is negative then the quadratic will shift down. Since k is -7 in this equation it will shift down.
