Estimating the first point is (0,75) (x1,y1) and the second point is (8,350) (x2,y2). Using the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 to find slope, when we plug in the numbers (350-75/8-0) we get 275/8 . This tells us that the temperature between the two points is rising 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

The slope is 1. It means that every minute the temperature rises by 50 degrees.
