A teacher buys a fruit cup for $1.50 and a calculator for $13.75 for each student in their classroom. The teacher spends a total of $579.50 for all of the fruit cups and calculators.

How many students are in the teacher's class? Please help I need to finish this ASAP

1.50 + 13.75 = 15.25

15.25 x 579.50 = 38

ok so basically you take the total and divide it by the total of one student!! :)
