Get the slope of each line

REwrite in the form y = mx+c

For the line -3x-3y = 1

-3y = 3x + 1

y = 3x/-3 + 1/-3

y = -x - 1/3

Slope m = -1

For the line -3x - 4y = 5

-4y = 3x + 5

y = -3/4 x - 5/4

Slope of the line is -3/4

Hence since both lines have different slopes, they are not parallel
