Solving for X:

1) Divide both sides by-4.

x < - (6y - 54)/(4)

2) Factor out the common term 6.

x < - (6(y - 9))/(4)

3) Simplify 6(y-9)/4 to 3 ( y - 9) / 2.

x < - (3(y - 9))/(2)

Therefor, the answer for x is x < - 3(y - 9)/2.

Solving for Y:

- 4x + 54 > 6y

( - 4x + 54)/(6) > y

( - 2(2x - 27))/(6) > y

- (2(2x - 27))/(6) > y

- (2x - 27)/(3) > y

y < - (2x - 27)/(3)

Therefor, the answer for Y is y < - 2x-27/3.
