this is about algebra, and my calculus prof. says that all people struggle with algebra, so work on it :D

P = 32 ( the total )

use the formula

P = 2L + 2W

but we are told that L =3W also sooo put that into L

P = 2(3W ) + 2w

32 = 6W + 2W

32 = 8W

4 = W

so width is 4

and length is 12
