Where x represent the horizontal distance , in feet that he is from the diving board and y represent his height , in feet above the water level . Explain the meaning of the meaning of x and y intercept in terms of context

X on the graph represents horizontal distance, the x intercept represents when he ends his dive and lands in the water. The x intercept = 8 meaning he is 8 feet away from the diving board when he lands in the water. The y-intercept of y = 13 means the starting point of his dive.
