Answer: x=-3 and y = 11

Step-by-step explanation: x+y = 8 and x-y = - 14

From first solve y = 8-x and now Insert y to later

x -(8-x) = -14. x -8+x-14. 2x = -6 and x=-3. Y = 8-x = 11
