A woman sues a man for the support of her child. She has to type A blood, her child has type O, and the man has type B. Could the man be the father? Explain.

Yes it’s possible for the man to be the father. Each biological parent donates one of two ABO genes to their child. The A and B genes are dominant and the O gene is recessive. So if the mother has A blood and the father has type B the child could have type A, B, AB or O blood.
