The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although you forgot to include the options to answer this question we can comment based on our knowledge of the topic.

What are this group's goals/reasons for joining the war effort?

Women joined the Revolutionary War of Independence because they wanted to support their husbands, sons, family members, and loved the idea of being independent of the British crown after having supported too many aggressions and aggravations under the English rule.

These Patriotic American women played many roles during the Revolutionary War. Some of them followed their loved ones to the battlefield, directly supporting the Continental Army led by General George Washington. Indeed someone coined the term "camp followers" to refer to these brave women.

These women helped in every way they could. Some cooked food, some were nurses that helped soldiers injured during the battle, some washed uniforms, some mended clothes, some took care of harmed people.

They had total will and disposition to be of help wherever they were needed. ANd none of them feared death.
