rise = y₂-y₁ = 1 - (-2) = 1+2 = 3

run = x₂-x₁ = 1-0 = 1

slope = rise / run

slope = 3/1

slope = 3

Answer: Rise = 3 Run=1 slope=3/1 or just 3

Explanation:

start at the left most point and count up to the line that contains the 2nd point

so rise 3

then count over to that 2nd point

so run is 1

slope is rise/run so 3/1
