Put the value of x =1
LHS
1/4(1)+1/2
1/4+1/2
Let’s take LCM of 4 and 2 , you will get 4.
Now, (1+2 )/4
=3/4

RHS=3/4

LHS = RHS

the steps are
1. combine multiplied terms to single fractions
2. then multiply them by 1
3. subtract a half from them
