What does slope measure? it doesnt count for any points but if i don't answer this correctly my math teacher will not leave me alone.

Slope, m, is a measure of the rate of change which is constant for linear equations. Mathematically it is defined as

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Again for linear equations this is a constant value which tells you how much y, the dependent variable, increases/decreases with respect to the change in the independent variable x.
