Since Mrs William's collected 4 more then mrs. Goby, Mrs Williams will have: = x+4

Miss Williams and mrs Laplant had the same number of box tops. They both had x+4 box tops.

x + (x + 4) + (x + 4) = 64

3x + 8 = 64

3x = 64 - 8

3x = 56
