Answer:

120 miles

Explanation:/

Since 1/2 of an inch represents 12 miles, double that in order to get an average for an inch. That would be 24.

Now we multiply one 5 inches by 24 miles. (Because it is five inches apart on the map and each inch is 24 miles)

24 × 5 = 120

The towns are about 120 miles apart according to the map.

Answer:

F

Explanation:

If 1/2 a inch=12 miles then keep going to 5 inches.

2 and 1/2 an inch=60 miles and 2 and 1/2 a inch is half of 5 so if you go another 2 and 1/2 an inch that would=120 miles. since it is half of 5 you could x it by 2.

so 2 and 1/2=60 if you times 60 by 2 that=120 miles and 5 inches

Have a good day:)
