a=3; (3,5) and (4,0) for the graph

Explanation:

ax-y=4

x=3, y=5 so...

a(3)-5=4

3a-5=4

+5 +5

3a=9

/3 . /3

a=3

For the graph, use (3,5) and substitute x and y for anything:

ax-y=4

if x=0...

a(0)-y=4

-y=4

y=4

a=3; (3,5) and (4,0) for the graph!
