For x intercept, we use y = m(x - d). We have

y = 3x + 12 → y = 3(x - (-4))

Point is (-4, 0)

Using distance formula,

Distance = √(0-12)² + (-4-0)² = √12²+4²

Distance = √144+16 = √160
