For a school fundraiser, Jessica will make T-shirts. She will order T-shirts and print graphics on them. Jessica must spend $255 on a printing machine and

$6.80 per shirt for the blank shirts, Ink, and other supplies.

You’d need to start by subtracting initial cost from the budget, so

1000-255= 745

You then divide the 745 by the cost of making each shirt,

745/6.80= 109.56

Since you can’t make .56 of a shirt, and the budget says we can’t round up, you can only make 109 shirts.
