let number of dimes be x and quarters be y

so our equation =

10x + 25y = 200

x = (y+13)

10(y+13) +25y= 200

10y + 130 +25y = 200

35y + 130 = 200

y = 70/35 = 2

x = y+13 = 15

amount = 10x15 + 25x2 = 150 + 50 = 200 cents = $2.
