1 11/12

Explanation:

10 2/3=32/3 x 4= 128/12


8 9/12= 105/12


128/12-105/12=23/12= 1 11/12

Explanation:

First you could convert both of them to improper fractions, then you could get them to a common denominator and the least common denominator for these two fractions would be 12 so you would multiply the fraction 10 2/3 so that they both have the same denominator then you would subtract them then you would make the answer a proper fraction again so your answer would be 1 11/12

10 2/3 = 32/3 times 4 = 128/12

8 9/12 = 105/12

128/12 - 105/12 = 23/12 = 1 11/12
