Diameter = 240 feet
Area of a circle = pi times r^2
We need to figure out what the radius is to get to the value of the diameter. To do this, we undo the pi multiplication; divide 45,216 by 3.14 to get the value that = r^2. So to get the radius we must undo the square by applying the square root to the current value of the radius squared (14400). We get 120 feet, which is our radius. Diameter = 2r, so 2(120)= 240
