Answer:

Formula for area of triangle:

A = bh x 1/2

Plug in the given numbers you have and solve for b(base/length)

(b x 12.4) x 1/2 = 105.4

12.4b x 1/2 = 105.4

12.4b/2 = 105.4

x2 x2

12.4b = 210.8

/12.4 /12.4

b = 17 square meters is your length

Answer:

17 meters

Explanation:

The triangle area is the length times height divided by two. So basically, (12.4*l)/2=105.4. (12.4*l) would have to be double of 105.4 in order to get 105.4 as the area when you divide by 2. So, (12.4*l)=210.8. Then, 'l' would have to be equal to 17 meters because 12.4*17=210.8. Hope this helps!
