Surface area can only use cm², not cm³. So unless it's not a typo or an error, then I would be wrong.

Explanation:

Small sphere

Surface area: 4πr²

4×π×5cm²

= 314.159265359cm²

314cm²

Large sphere

4×π×12cm²

= 1809.55736847cm²

1810cm²

Answer:

314 cm^2, 1809 cm^2

Explanation:

r = 5 cm

area = 4π*5^2 = 4 * 3.14 * 25 = 314 cm^2

R = 12 cm

area = 4π*12^2 = 4*3.14*144 = 1809 cm^2
